…because then it’ll be Twilight. Get it?
Welcome back to Read Between the Vines! We are bad with responsibility! We are not professionals! But we love reading and we love wine and we love you! Thanks for sticking around!
We’ve got an episode coming your way on The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. Our overall conclusion: it was a tough read, but overall worth it if you have the time and energy required.
This month we’re throwing it back. Do not hate us. Do not judge us. Simply laugh with us and move on – because we KNOW you’ve read this one. It may have been in seventh grade when you forced your crush to read the sexy parts just to watch them blush, but YOU DID READ IT.
And now we’re going to read it AGAIN and see if it stands the test of time! Even though it was only published 15 years ago! (15 years?! What the hell?! We’re old!!!)
Okay, okay. Enough of that. So what are we reading?

Book: Twilight
Author: Stephenie Meyer
Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance
Published: October 2005
Description: About three things I was absolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him – and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be – that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight is a love story with a bite.

Please know that I had to drink a glass of wine before posting this to our website, because, well, you know, it’s TWILIGHT.
