Howdy! In case you haven’t been listening (shame!), there’s some big changes coming to our lives! We wanted to give you a quick update on what’s going on behind the scenes of RBTV.
We have both decided to leave our jobs at the non-profit where we met. It was a tough decision, but feels like the right one for both of us. In fact, we’re both going back to school!
Jacquie landed a spot in USF’s Master’s of Criminology program, where she also secured a great graduate assistant position as editorial coordinator for an academic journal IN HER FIELD. She’s super excited to pursue this long-time goal and is one step closer to effecting the change she wants to see. SO PROUD.
Chrissy moved to Orlando to pursue her Master’s in Business Administration at Rollins College, a small liberal arts college in Winter Park. She was born and raised in Orlando, and she’s excited to be back in what feels like a brand new city. A lot can change in five years! She’s also over the moon to be living in the same city as Adam for the first time in three years. (I know, I know, barf).
Don’t worry – we’re still going to be reading, writing, drinking and recording. It just might be harder to guess what the other’s poetry is about because we don’t see each other every day anymore. WE’RE SO SAD.
Other than the fact that we miss each other dearly, we are both happy and thriving and looking forward to publishing more episodes and ramping up our social media presence (now that Chrissy is unemployed). Thanks for your support and love! Ye
